CCS has been going through several changes. We are pleased to announce that we have welcomed Erika Marquez as part of the Admin team. Erika will be helping with marketing, communications and will be joining the dance directors seat with Lupe. We are very excited and blessed to have Erika join us.
Our CCS U-Groovers have been busy putting together a CD. We have been spending time in the recording studio with Hugo Parra and Ceaser Aguirre. It has been a positive experience for the teens. They have learned what it takes to put together a good CD. It takes a lot of hours and several retakes and team work. We hope to have the CD out soon. Thank you to Hugo and Ceasar for taking their time to help us put this together.
CCS has also teamed up with Fed by Threads, to create some pretty awesome shirts for our group this year. IT has taken almost 6 months, but we finally have something coming. Fed By Threads is a local clothing store. All products are American made. Therefore it took a while to find an place that would make shirts for children as well as adults for a decent price. It has been a learning process for sure. The best part of us getting our shirts through Fed By Threads is that we will be helping our community at the same time. For every shirt sold, 12 meals will go to the Community Food Bank. How is that not amazing?!
We have so much more coming up and some other changes. But we are very excited for the Direction CCS is heading in. We truly love working with our community and bringing people together the other wise would never socialize in the same “circle”.
